A senior associate at Walkers has been sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey.
Ellen Jarvis, who has worked in the firm’s Investment Funds & Corporate Practice Group since 2019, was admitted on Friday 28 March.
Already qualified in the Isle of Man, Ms Jarvis acts on a range of matters including corporate real estate transactions, company reorganisations, private equity M&A deals, and Jersey property unit trusts.
Commenting on her appointment, she said: “I am extremely proud to have been sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey, meaning I am now admitted in two of three Crown Dependencies.”
She thanked her colleagues for their support and encouragement.
Walkers’ managing partner in Jersey, Jonathan Heaney, described the appointment as “a remarkable milestone” requiring “commitment, dedication, effort, and expertise”.
The firm, which operates in both Jersey and Guernsey, employs more than 90 lawyers across financial services law.
