There are no changes to household waste and recycling collections on the upcoming Bank Holiday weekends.
Guernsey Waste has confirmed that there will be no changes to household waste and recycling collections over the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend. Collections will take place as normal on all scheduled days.
Households unsure of their bin night or which materials to put out can check their collection schedule at www.gov.gg/mybinnight.
Please note the following changes to waste site operations over the Bank Holiday and Liberation Day:
- Household Waste & Recycling Centre (HWRC): Closed on Bank Holidays.
- Household Green Waste Site at Mont Cuet: Open from 10am to 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday; closed on Liberation Day.
- Commercial Sites: Mont Cuet and Land Reclamation closed on both Bank Holiday Monday and Liberation Day, Waste Transfer Station open for limited hours between 4am and 8am on Bank Holiday Monday and Liberation Day.
