The first Eat Drink and Be Local Seafront Sunday takes place this weekend.

The four events are set to take place on 26 April, 21 June, 2 August and 30 August featuring island favourites as well as exciting new additions.

Located on Crown Pier and St Peter Port’s seafront, the events bring together small businesses, independent producers and artists to showcase locally made food, drink and crafts, alongside live music and entertainment throughout the day.

The first event in April will feature a visit from well-known chef and food influencer James Strawbridge. James will be running cooking demonstrations during the Seafront Sunday as part of his visit to the island, which is organised by Visit Guernsey.

Luke Wheadon, Chair of EDABL, said: ‘Seafront Sundays continue to provide a fantastic platform for local producers, makers and creatives to showcase their products to the community.

‘Over the years, we’ve brought together a good number of well-established businesses on the island that started as pitches at Seafront Sundays, and it has been great to see that progression over the years. Watching businesses grow into successful local brands is exactly what these events are all about.’

All four events will run from 10am to 5pm throughout the Spring and Summer months.
