Charities across the Bailiwick are being urged to act quickly, as the deadline to apply for funding from the 2026 Saffery Rotary Walk is fast approaching.
Applications must be submitted by 11.59pm on Sunday 30 November for a chance to benefit from one of Guernsey’s most celebrated fundraising events. Every year, the Walk raises a significant sum for local causes – with over £100,000 shared between 25 charities in
2025 alone.
Organisers are now making a final call for applications, inviting registered charities and non- profit organisations to come forward with projects that could benefit from financial support.
Lisa Vizia, Director at Saffery Trust, said: “The Walk has made a real difference to so many charities over the years, and we’re incredibly proud of that impact. With the deadline fast approaching, we want to ensure no deserving cause misses out on the opportunity to apply.”
Simon Milsted, Chairman of the Saffery Rotary Walk, added: “It’s always inspiring to see how the funds raised help such a broad range of local initiatives. We encourage all eligible organisations to put in a thoughtful, well-prepared application – and we wish everyone the best of luck.”
Applications are open to all registered charities and non-profit organisations within the Bailiwick. Funding will be awarded to identifiable projects that are achievable and have clear, measurable outcomes. Successful applicants will be announced in the new year.
