Charities and non-profits have until the end of the month to apply to be a beneficiary of funds raised from the 2026 Saffery Rotary Walk.
Any locally registered charities can apply to benefit from a share of the fundraising.
Over £100,000 was raised for 25 local organisations last year which included Les Bourgs Hospice, the Youth Commission and Guernsey Swimming Club.
This was delivered through the generosity of over 1,200 walkers who took on the 39-mile coastal trek supported by hundreds of volunteers and sponsors.
Applicants who want to benefit from next year’s walk need to apply online by 30 November ahead of the beneficiaries being announced in early 2026.
Rotarian Jannine Birtwistle, the Walks Charity Coordinator, said: “Applications are now welcome from all registered charities or non-profit organisations based anywhere in the Bailiwick.
“Thanks to the continued support of our main sponsor, Saffery Trust, and our other supporters, every penny our walkers raise is available for distribution to selected local causes.”
Lisa Vizia, Director at Saffery Trust Director, added: “The Saffery Rotary Walk is about more than fundraising – it’s about community pride. Every walker, volunteer, and sponsor plays a part in improving life on our islands, and it’s inspiring to see how funds turn into projects that make a visible difference”.
Next year’s walk is set to take place on 6 June.
