Guernsey Mind has announced that the winning team of the Anytime Fitness Challenge is Healthcare Group B, with the team having clocked up an impressive 90 visits to the St Sampson-based gym last month.
The charity teamed up with Anytime Fitness to remind islanders of the importance of safeguarding their mental wellbeing through physical activity, particularly throughout the winter months. Local businesses were challenged to enter teams of up to six to undertake as many visits to the gym as possible throughout February.
65 entrants from 10 local businesses participated in the Challenge, including two teams from the Healthcare Group. All proceeds from the campaign, totaling £650, have been donated to Guernsey Mind.
In addition to the Champion title, each member of the winning team has been awarded 12 months’ free membership to Anytime Fitness, while each Challenge participant is now eligible to join the gym at a reduction of 20 percent off the standard membership fee.
