Coinciding with National Storytelling Week (this week from 1 February), HSBC has been distributing hundreds of books to schools across the Channel Islands.

Here, Thomas Chapman, Branch Manager, HSBC Alderney (right) hands over children’s books to Martin Winward, Headteacher of St. Anne’s School, Alderney.

The books were all kindly donated by members of the public and staff as part of a campaign before Christmas across the Islands’ branch network and offices, aimed at supporting and encouraging young people to read more.
