The 2025 paper tax return will be available to collect at five drop-ins taking place across the island next week.
The are taking place at the following dates, times and locations:
• Wednesday 20th May – St Saviour’s Community Centre, 8.30am to 12pm and St Martin’s Parish Hall, 1pm to 5.30pm.
• Thursday 21st May – Vale Douzaine Room, 8.30am to 12pm and Castel Douzaine Room, 1pm to 5pm
• Saturday 23rd May – Sir Charles Frossard House, 8.30am to 12pm.
Revenue Service staff will be available to issue paper returns, help with completing paper returns, help with online returns and any other general tax queries.
There’s no need to book an appointment, but as drop-ins tend to be busiest at the start of the session, customers may want to consider arriving after the first hour. Anyone who would like help with completing their online tax return is asked to bring their mobile phone, tablet or laptop with them.
From Tuesday 26th May, 2025 paper tax return forms will be available to collect from the following locations:
• All parish offices
• The Revenue Service customer counter on Level 3, Edward T Wheadon House
• Citizen’s Advice, Guernsey (at Grow Ltd)
• Guernsey Welfare Service
• Age Concern
Scott Bloomfield, Head of Service Delivery, said: “We’re pleased that over 4,000 people have already completed their 2025 tax returns online ahead of the deadline on 30th November 2026. However, we know that not everyone can or wants to complete their return online.
“It’s important that we try and host these drop-ins at different locations across the island, so that we can make it as easy as possible for everyone to pick up a tax return form and to get any help they might need.
“As has already been announced, a detailed assessment of the current operational situation of the Revenue Service is being carried out so that a recovery plan can be put in place to bring the service back to where it needs to be over time. Therefore, although some islanders are still waiting for an assessment or repayment from a previous year, we’d encourage people to complete their 2025 tax return so that these can be worked on alongside the wider recovery activities. This will help to ensure that a new backlog does not develop.”
