Les Cotils sign

Sean McManus, RSEA President, has issued this reminder to Association members about the 2026 AGM.

“The Retired States Employees’ Association is pleased to be holding its 2026 AGM on Wednesday, 22nd April in the Harry Bound Room at Les Cotils, St Peter Port, starting at 2:30 p.m.”

Mr McManus explains that: “Since 1994, the RSEA has existed to represent, safeguard and advance the interests and rights of all former States employees receiving a Public Servants’ Pension, including those on partial retirement or with deferred pension entitlement. We look forward to welcoming members to the AGM, which will include annual reports and updates on policy and practical matters relevant to members and we hope that as many as possible will have received individual invitations by email or seen the recent advertisements in the Guernsey Press.

“In common with similar organisations, the RSEA relies upon volunteers to maintain its services and encourages members to consider standing for election to the Committee so that they can play their part in protecting the current and future pensions interests of former colleagues from across the whole range of public services.

“If any RSEA members have matters that they would like to raise at the AGM, or if they are interested in joining the Committee or otherwise helping the RSEA fulfil its objectives, they are welcome to contact me, Sean McManus, on 259654 or by e-mail to sjmcm2016@gmail.com or Peter Hughes, the Association’s Secretary, by e-mail to secretary@rsea.org.gg.”
