Is your name Charles or Camilla? In celebration of the upcoming Royal visit, the St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort and Fermain Valley Hotel are offering a free champagne afternoon tea for five lucky guests named either Charles or Camilla.
The first five people with either of these names to book afternoon tea on 16 July, when the King and Queen will be on island, will enjoy a free tasty treat for two.
Winners and a plus-one will experience the quintessentially British pastime at either St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort or Fermain Valley Hotel, creating a magical moment on the specially agreed bank holiday.
Those without the Royal namesake won’t go without, as every guest booked for afternoon tea at either hotel on 16 July will receive a complimentary glass of champagne, to toast this auspicious occasion. It will be the first time King Charles and Queen Camilla will be visiting Guernsey since the King’s Coronation in 2023.
Elizabeth Raine, General Manager at St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort said: “We pride ourselves on treating every guest like Royalty year-round at Hand Picked Hotels, but afternoon tea is a particularly appropriate treat, given its long and storied association with exceptional quality food and luxury dining. Afternoon tea in Britain dates back centuries, as far back as the 1860s, so we’re proud to celebrate King Charles III’s visit in this appropriately historic way.”
So, if you’re a cheerful Charles or a celebrating Camilla, book your free afternoon tea at St Pierre Park on 01481 728282 or stpierrepark@handpicked.co.uk or Fermain Valley on 01481 253666 or reservations@fermain@handpicked.co.uk.
But hurry, it’s for the first five only at each hotel!
Winners will be required to present valid ID upon arrival to confirm their names. Failure to provide proof of name will result in the prize being rescinded.
