A Guernsey hotel is hoping its newly refreshed gym facilities are a ‘fit’ with guests.
St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort has announced a significant investment in its health facilities, which includes upgrading to the latest Technogym equipment.
Ian Potter, Head of Health Clubs at Hand Picked Hotels, said: “People increasingly want to work around their lives and their individual goals.
“Someone may be training for a sporting challenge, looking to improve strength or mobility, returning to exercise or simply wanting to become healthier and more active.
“The new Technogym facilities allow us to combine outstanding equipment and connected technology with the expertise of our team and our personal training offer.
“Members can follow personalised programmes, track their progress and, importantly, have the support of our team to help them get the most out of their training.
“We want to create an environment that feels motivating and supportive and helps people build healthy habits that last.”
This builds on Hand Picked Hotels’ continued investment in St Pierre Park and is a continuation of its relationship with Technogym.
The company’s gym equipment is used by hotels, health clubs and elite sporting organisations around the world.
Technogym has supported 10 editions of the Olympics, most recently as the Official Supplier for Milano Cortina 2026, equipping 22 training centres for more than 3,500 athletes.
As well as completely replacing its equipment, the hotel will also replace the flooring and make wider improvements to the health club.
Elizabeth Raine, Cluster General Manager in Guernsey and Alderney, said: “This is much more than an investment in new gym equipment. It is another important step in developing the health, fitness and wellness experience we offer and ensuring our facilities continue to evolve with the needs of our members and guests.
“St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort has been part of the Guernsey community for many years. Continuing to invest in the hotel, for our local members as well as the guests who stay with us, is incredibly important.
“We want our existing members to be excited by the transformation, while also welcoming new members from across the island to discover what St Pierre Park Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort has to offer.”
