The GSPCA would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jo and all of the wonderful staff at the Channel Islands Co-operative Longstore branch for their incredible efforts in raising much-needed funds to support our work with animals across Guernsey as well as all the customers.

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said: “The GSPCA would like to thank the staff and customers from the Channel Islands Co-operative Longstore branch as their dedication, enthusiasm, and generosity have made a real difference, and we are truly grateful for the time and energy they put into supporting our cause.

“Thanks to their fundraising efforts raising nearly £300 —and the kindness of everyone who donated—we are able to continue providing vital care and shelter to animals in need and strive forward with eh Big Build.

“Every penny raised helps us rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our community.

“To Jo and the Longstore team: your compassion and commitment mean the world to us.

“And to all those who donated—thank you for standing with us and helping make Guernsey a safer, kinder place for animals.

“From all of us at the GSPCA, and on behalf of the animals whose lives you’ve helped change—thank you.

“There are many ways to support our work and we always love to hear from those keen to help and with many upcoming events please do get in touch if you can help in any way.”

Nicola Baker GSPCA Team Member met Jo, and said: “It was so lovely to meet Jo this week and receive the amazing donation from the Co-op Longstore.

“Thank you to all the great Co-op staff and all the customers for raising so much we are truly grateful.”
