The event aims to raise awareness about heart health and provide valuable resources to the community.
Taking place on February 27th from 14:30 to 17:00, the Heart Awareness Day provides an opportunity for attendees to engage with representatives from the Jersey Heart Support Group, who will be on hand to provide screenings and advice; and also address any questions or concerns.
Carolina Almeida, a specialist nurse, will lead a heart awareness presentation, shedding light on crucial aspects of heart health and offering insights into prevention and management of heart-related conditions.
Sarah Jemson Registered Manager at Jersey Cheshire Home said, “We are thrilled to host this Heart Awareness Day as part of our commitment to promoting overall well-being within our community. Heart health is of paramount importance, and by providing access to screenings and expert advice, we hope to empower individuals to take proactive steps towards maintaining a healthy heart.”
The event is free and open to all members of the community. Whether you have concerns about your heart health or simply wish to learn more about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, we invite you to join us at the new JCH Community Centre on February 27th.
