As from 08.45 am – Wednesday 9 March Wednesday 9 March at 9.00 am: The 50th Swimarathon is started by HE the Lt Governor Sir Stephen Dalton and Lady Dalton.

Helvetia House School take all eight lanes in the first session.  

After the start HE will make a special presentation to sisters Pat Hingston and Angie de Carteret who have swum in every Swimarathon (including this one!)

Wednesday 9 March at 10.00 am:  Swimmers who took part in the 1972 Swimarathon will be swimming again in the 50th

Wednesday 9 March at 11.00 am: Community Session

Wednesday 9 March at 12 noon: Haute Vallée School taker all eight lanes

Wednesday 9 March at 1.00 pm: FCJ Primary School takes all eight lanes

Wednesday 9 March at 3.00 pm: Beaulieu Convent School takes all eight lanes

Wednesday 9 March at 4.00 pm: Government House team, the Flying Fishes, swims (in previous years Government House has raised more funds for the Swimarathon than any other team)

Wednesday 9 March at 6.00pm: Teams from the Swimarathon’s sponsors Ravenscroft, the Ravenscroft Ravers and the Ravenscroft Racers swim in lanes 3 and 4

Thursday 10 March at 9.00 am: Rouge Bouillon School takes all eight lanes

Thursday 10 March at 11.00 am: The Jersey DIPS (Disabled in Pool Swimmers) swim in the Small Pool – DIPS have swum in every Swimarathon

Thursday 10 March at 2.00 pm: Victoria College Prep takes all eight lanes

Thursday 10 March at 3.00 pm: D’Auvergne School takes all eight lanes

Thursday 10 March at 4.00 pm: A team from the Bailiff’s Chambers swims

Thursday 10 March at 6.00 pm: Teams from the States of Jersey Police take all eight lanes

Thursday 10 March at 7.00 pm: Teams from HSBC take all eight lanes

Thursday 10 March at 8.00 pm: Teams from the General Hospital swim in lanes 1,2 and 6

Friday 11 March at 9.00 am: Hautlieu School takes all eight lanes

Friday 11 March at 10.00 am: Jersey College Prep takes all eight lanes

Friday 11 March at 11.00 am: Mont à l’Abbé School takes lanes 1, 2, 7 and 8

Friday 11 March at 12 noon: Brighter Futures (a frequent Swimarathon beneficiary) team swims in Lane 8

Friday 11 March at 3.00 pm: La Moye Primary School takes six lane

Friday 11 March at 4.00 pm: St Mary’s Primary School takes six lanes

Friday 11 March at 8.00 pm: The Jersey Surfboard Club swims in Lanes 1,2 and 3 and the POJ Water Wings and The Treasury Turtles swim in lanes 5 and 6 

Saturday 12 March at 8.00 am: Teams from Legendre Legends, Dandara, ROK Ltd, Mitchell and Style swim in lanes 1,3,4,5 and 6

Saturday 12 March at 9.00 am: Tigers Swimming Club Take all eight lanes

Saturday 12 March at 10.00 am: A team from the Jersey Special Gymnastics Club swims in Lane 1

Saturday 12 March at 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm: Teams from the Jersey Swimming Club (joint founders of the Swimarathon in 1972) take all eight lanes in each session 

Saturday 12 March at 4.00 pm: The Long Distance Swimming Club takes all eight lanes

Saturday 12 March at 8.00 pm: The Orange Hour – all eight lanes are taken by teams organised by Blanca Palacin in memory of her late husband Neil Hussey, stalwart of the Customs team who held the Trophy for the most laps swum for five years

Sunday 13 March at 10.00 am: Grouville Primary School takes all eight lanes.

Sunday 13 March at 11.00 am: Jean McLoughlin BEM takes lanes 1,2,3 and 4 for Karryna’s Angels in memory of her daughter Karryna who died of cancer and the Pirouet and Germain Family teams swim in lanes 7 and 8 – both teams have been holders of the trophy for raising the most money per head by a family team

Sunday 13 March at 12 noon: St George’s Prep School takes all eight lanes

Sunday 13 March at 2.00 pm: Les Amis Dolphins, Les Amis Starfish, Les Amis Sharks and Les Amis Turtles swim in lanes 5,6.7 and 8

Sunday 13 March at 3.00 pm: Youth organisation Pathways, sponsored by the Lions Club of Jersey, swims in lanes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and teams from the Cub Scouts swim in lanes 6,7 and 8

Sunday 13 March at 5.00 pm: The Robin Ward Robinettes and the Robin Ward Little Robins swim in lanes 6 and 7 and the Lions Club team, captained by President Lion Bill Harris, swims in lane 8

Sunday 13 March at 6.00 pm: The Rotary Club team swims in lane 6

Sunday 13 March at 7.00 pm: Swimsmart teams swim in lanes 4,5,6,7 and 8
