Islanders are being challenged to put their general knowledge to the test – while helping support people severely affected by mental illness and their families.
Focus on Mental Illness is teaming up with Jersey’s adult Mental Health Services for a charity quiz night at the Ommaroo Hotel next month, with dinner, a raffle and plenty of competition promised.
Brains at the ready…
The event takes place on Friday 25 September, with doors opening at 6.30pm before questions begin at 7pm.
Tickets cost £25 and include dinner, with teams of four to six encouraged to enter.
Those without enough budding quiz champions to form a team can also attend and join a friendly group on the night.
The event is being run with support from ‘More Than A Quiz’, while details of raffle prizes are due to be announced.
Supporting Islanders and their families
All proceeds will support Focus on Mental Illness, which works with Islanders severely affected by mental illness and their families.
Liz Kendrick-Lodge, Co-Executive Director, said: “We see every day the difference the right support makes for someone living with mental illness, and for their families too.
“This quiz night is our chance to bring our community together, have lots of fun, and keep that support going.”
