£34million for 84,000 square feet - that was the price paid in what is thought to be the largest ever office sale in Jersey.
Led by Bedell Cristin’s Head of Property, Guy le Sueur, and Head of Corporate and Commercial, Tim Pearce, and supported by associates Mark Lisbet and Natalie Harris, Islands Development Limited successfully completed the sale of Liberation House and Windward House on the Waterfront to the Channel Island Property Fund.
Describing the properties as “unique, landmark assets”, Mr Le Sueur commented that the transaction was “clearly one of the most significant deals to date at the Waterfront."
This is the second large scale sale for Bedell in recent weeks, with the company’s team having completed on the sale of the Tourism Office at the Waterfront development in September.
Angela Morris, Director of Islands Development Limited, said that the sale was “a significant milestone” for the company. “We are very appreciative to all of the advisers that assisted us in achieving this, with particular thanks to Bedell Cristin in assisting the overall project management and in getting the deal over the line,” she said.
