Grand Hotel's new recruit has "commitment to guest satisfaction"

A five-star hotel based in St Helier has appointed a new Food and Beverage Manager.

The Grand Jersey Hotel and Spa announced the appointment of Nicky Sheard in the role of Food & Beverage Manager.

Mr Sheard has over a decade of hotel and resort experience and fifteen years in the food and beverage sector.

Throughout his career, Mr Sheard has demonstrated a dedication to service excellence and exceptional leadership skills, within a range of positions including overseeing F&B operations at luxury five-star Caribbean resorts.

In his new role, Mr Sheard's focus will be on delivering quality service and assist in developing colleagues through training and coaching.

Tim O’Sullivan, General Manager of Grand Jersey, said: "We are delighted to welcome Nicky to the Hand Picked Hotels family.

"His proven track record of leadership and his commitment to guest satisfaction make him the perfect fit for this role.

"We look forward to his contribution towards elevating our food and beverage offerings and enhancing the overall guest experience."

The Grand Hotel is also set to re-open The Terrace on Thursday 2 May following a recent £100,00 investment.

The Terrace will be open from midday to 22:00 daily, featuring a brand new bar, menu and cocktail list.
