Calligo, the only global offshore cloud service provider, has achieved full ISO 27001:2013 Information Security certification.
The certification is the industry standard in global security management, and Calligo is the first offshore cloud service provider to achieve certification to the latest version of the criteria.
Calligo’s successful certification was awarded following detailed and extensive external audits, carried out by QEC Certification, the industry leader in information security management system (ISMS) certification and fully accredited by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service). A very detailed approach was used when implementing the ISMS which see these standards deployed into all areas of Calligo – ensuring that the full benefit of ISO would be seen throughout the company.
“To achieve a company wide certification is a remarkable achievement, and follows a great deal of effort from all areas of the organisation. I’m also extremely pleased that we have achieved certification against the very latest version of the standard, ensuring that the latest security practices and controls are included in our approach to security and privacy. With the pace of change within technology it is crucial to have an up-to-date and continually improving security framework in place. ISO 27001:2013 builds on Calligo’s ISO 9001:2008 accreditation and positions security at the centre of the business, it confirms to our clients our commitment to security and privacy, and our continued improvement of all processes throughout the company," said Julian Box, Chief Executive Officer, Calligo .
“The achievement in obtaining this prestigious certification, especially given its recent release, means that not only are we compliant with the latest Information Security standards laid out in the certification, but that we have also raised our entire security and compliance frameworks to the highest level available. This standard is a reflection of the excellent levels of service that we provide our clients and our guarantee that both their data and ours are always safe, and protected. I’m extremely proud of our achievement and the high praise received from the external auditors regarding our work, it yet again demonstrates that security is truly at the centre of everything we do at Calligo,” said Nick Arnold, Chief Security Officer, Calligo.
