Recruitment consultants gain GDPR qualifications

Wednesday 29 January 2020

AP Group's recruitment consultants have completed a GDPR manager level training course adapted to Channel Islands data protection laws.

Each consultant achieved 100% pass rate in the examination, which covered specific areas related to data protection and personal data.

Gina Le Prevost, CEO for AP Group, congratulated the staff on completing the manager-level course.

"We are the first recruitment agency in the Channel Islands to have recognised the importance of on the job GDPR training and undertaken professional study relating to the importance of data protection rules and regulations in the islands," Ms Le Prevost said.

"We felt it very important to ensure we continue to keep on top of our game. Being professionally qualified in recruitment especially with GDPR training and qualifications, should be compulsory to study GDPR in the recruitment industry as it is such an important aspect of our jobs.

"We want our candidates and clients to be assured of our professionalism and current knowledge, so they can rely on our expertise.  Our industry is becoming more and more compliant with data management procedures.  Recruitment agencies should be particularly conscious of the importance of data protection as our industry is so very very confidential."
