Appleby has snapped up the largest number of listings in the latest Who’s Who Legal Asset Recovery with top lawyers based in Jersey, the Isle of Man, the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and the BVI.

Included among eight Appleby practitioners from five jurisdictions is Advocate Fraser Robertson, a Partner and Group Head of the Jersey Dispute Resolution department.

He was described as being a “trusted adviser” to a number of companies and individuals in the asset recovery market.

Fraser is a commercial litigator who advises on all types of commercial disputes. He has extensive experience in fraud and asset tracing and has appeared in a number of high profile cases before the Jersey Courts.

He specialises in fraud and asset tracing, trust litigation and regulatory matters. His client base includes trust companies that require his expertise in trust disputes many involving money-laundering issues. He practised for a number of years in London and became a partner of Appleby in 2000. He qualified as an accredited mediator in 2004.

Alongside Fraser, the 2015 edition also featured Appleby lawyers from four other jurisdictions: Bermuda - John Wasty (Partner) and John Riihiluoma (Partner); BVI - Andrew Willins (Partner); Cayman Islands - Jeremy Walton (Partner), Andrew Bolton (Partner) and Christopher Russell) and Isle of Man – Mark Holligon (Partner).
