Atlantic Hotel wins Best Cuisine award

Thursday 09 November 2017

The Atlantic Hotel's "exceptional fine dining restaurant" has been recognised with the Best Cuisine Award at the inaugural Premier Holidays Partner Awards.

The industry awards are designed to recognise hotels that offer something different, or who have provided outstanding service and support.

The judges commented on The Atlantic Hotel, saying: "Its exceptional fine dining restaurant, Ocean, is ranked as one of the best in the British Isles. In 2015, The Atlantic launched the annual Eat Jersey Food Festival to showcase the finest Jersey produce with leading chefs, which has attracted nationwide media exposure and increased visitors to the island out of season."

Patrick Burke, owner and Managing Director at The Atlantic Hotel, said: "We are delighted to have been named winner of the Best Cuisine Award by our valued partner Premier Holidays. Ocean Restaurant has long taken pride in celebrating the finest local ingredients for an exceptional dining experience right on Jersey’s coast. This autumn we have welcomed our new Executive Chef Will Holland, whose arrival marks the next step in the development of the cuisine at the hotel.

"Jersey has long been famed for its fantastic local produce and Will is passionate about the use of these rich and varied seasonal ingredients, which feature prominently in his outstanding new menus. We very much look forward to continuing to welcome Premier Holidays clients to The Atlantic Hotel and Ocean Restaurant."
