Barclays has won three Euromoney Private Banking Survey awards for its work in the Channel Islands.
The Bank picked up the awards for Investment Banking Capabilities and SRI/Social Impact Investing in Guernsey, and Commercial Banking Capabilities in Jersey, at the awards ceremony in London.
Neil McCluskey, Head of local business banking and international corporates for Barclays in Jersey, collected the awards.
He said: “Recognition from the survey shows that we are working well with our clients and contacts across the full Banking and Investment space. It is clear our peers value our overall proposition, and have noticed our strengthening Commercial Banking qualities” he said.
“The survey also highlighted that client-user-experience technology and asset management are the two top priorities for private bank CEOs this year when it comes to investments – clearly this aligns with our own priorities.”
Barclays Managing Director for the Channel Islands, Paul Savery, said: “The awards will be a big boost for our teams in Guernsey and Jersey, particularly as the Euromoney survey has identified that investment in the client experience is a key current trend.
“We’re immensely proud of our businesses in the islands and the reputation we have built with our clients.”
