C5 Alliance Go Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Thursday 29 October 2015

C5 Alliance will join thousands of organisations across the UK who are ‘going pink’ for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, having installed pink flood lights to light up the front of their Datacentre building in support of the campaign.

The pink flood lights are the latest demonstration of the organisation’s work in support of cancer awareness, following their sponsorship of Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey’s Greatest Coffee Morning last month.

The building, which is located at Rue des Pres Trading Estate in St Saviour, will be lit up from Monday 26th October to Friday 30th October. Local company YESSS Wholesale Electric Suppliers have loaned top of the line, brand new flood lights, and Channel Electrics Ltd have also helped by installing the lights.

Mark Loane, CEO at C5 Alliance, said: “This is the first time we have ‘gone pink’ to raise awareness for this cause, which effects so many lives here in Jersey. This campaign is in line with our initiative of creating a positive impact in our local community through supporting causes and charities. We hope that the lights will go some way in helping to raise awareness for this great cause.”
