Ceri Riddett, C5 Alliance Group Limited (C5) HR Director, has been nominated for the ‘New Start-Up Director of The Year’ award in the ninth annual Jersey Institute of Directors (IoD) Awards.
The award recognises upcoming leaders who have demonstrated excellent entrepreneurial potential, ability, ambition, creativity and vision in new or established businesses, and who have operated at director level for less than two years.
Rob Leader, Group Managing Director of C5 commented: "Ceri has had possibly one of the most challenging HR roles in the Channel Islands over the last few years and has done a remarkable job of looking after the business during that time. She was instrumental in managing the integration of the ITEX and the C5 team in 2014; creating an entirely new HR infrastructure, and also developing a new culture and values for the business.
"It is fair to say that Ceri lives these values every day, be that supporting new recruits or adding strategic value at group board. She has also been invaluable at keeping the ship steady over the last year while our business has gone through significant changes and a sale. As one of the few female directors in a heavily male dominated industry, in my opinion there is no one more deserving of this award than Ceri."
The winners of the 2018 Jersey IoD Awards will be announced on 27 April.
