Calligo has announced recent additions to the company’s executive team to support the customer demand for their secure cloud platform.

Mark Thomas has been appointed as Director of On-Boarding Services and Nigel Renouf has been named as Director of Business Development.

“We’re excited to welcome Mark and Nigel to the team during this exciting period of growth for the business,” says Julian Box, Calligo CEO.

“Their respective experience building world-class cloud infrastructure and growing cloud sales across a range of jurisdictions will help support Calligo’s products and services as we continue to expand rapidly”.

Leading the company’s on-boarding team, Mr Thomas will ensure Calligo’s new and existing clients receive the highest quality experience, engaging directly with clients to ensure a smooth transition to Calligo’s services.

“Mark’s expertise is crucial if we’re to maintain an exceptional client experience whilst growing our business at this rate,” said Mr Box.

Mr Thomas has more than 17 years of experience providing Virtualisation, Cloud and Disaster Recovery services. Before joining Calligo, he was the Solutions Architect at Databarracks, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of their award winning Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Disaster Recovery as a Service offerings. He has also held leadership roles at VirtualizeIT and Virtustream.

Mr Renouf will focus on establishing and securing new business development and market opportunities as well as supporting growth across Calligo’s existing offshore jurisdictions.

“Nigel’s experience and industry relationships will be an essential part of our efforts in maintaining Calligo’s position as the number one Cloud Service Provider in the offshore marketplace,” said Mr Box.

Mr Renouf joins Calligo with over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Most recently, he was responsible for the business development of Sure International’s datacenter services portfolio across the EMEA, APAC and offshore regions.

In addition to these new hires, Calligo has expanded its Service Delivery and Software Development teams as part of an overall push to continually improve the client experience across all facets of the business.
