Capita Asset Services sold

Australian listed financial services provider Link Administration Holdings has bought Capita Asset Services for an undisclosed sum.

The transaction is subject to certain regulatory and other approvals and completion is expected in Q4 2017.

Capita Asset Services has operated in Jersey for more than 60 years, employing over 200 people from its offices in Castle Street.  It provides services to HNWI, Corporate and Fund clients. 

Commenting on the sale, Norma O’Sullivan, Managing Director of the Jersey business, said: “We are excited by this news.  This is an excellent strategic fit for us - it fully complements our existing business in terms of services, client base and professional staff while also providing us with the opportunity to further develop and strengthen our client proposition, with access to new jurisdictions.
