Ogier appoints new Associates in Jersey

Tuesday 07 May 2024

Two graduates of Ogier's tailored trainee solicitor programme have been promoted to become associates of the firm in Jersey.

Nicole Austin-Vautier (pictured top, left) has joined the Dispute Resolution team and Lara Morand joins the Corporate team(pictured top, right).

Meanwhile, Eptissam Fakhreddine has joined the Corporate and Funds team in Guernsey.

The three newly qualified solicitors successfully completed Ogier's two-year training scheme, which is regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority, and sees trainees take on up to four seats, including time in litigation, as well as the Professional Skills Course and an experiential litigation course that includes a mock trial.

Training Principal and former graduate of the scheme himself, partner Richard Daggett, commented: "Ogier was one of the first Channel Islands firms to invest in a training scheme regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority almost 20 years ago and the stream of high quality associates we are able to welcome into our teams is a real testament to the scheme's success.

"Huge congratulations to Nicole, Lara, and Eptissam."
