Carey Olsen will once again be pitting local businesses against one another in its multi-sensory quiz experience to raise money for its two local charities, the RNLI and Jersey Stroke Association.
After the success of last year’s quiz, that raised nearly £8,000 for the Jersey Alzheimer’s Society and Jersey Hospice Care, local businesses are encouraged to enter the event that will be held at the Merton Hotel on Thursday 19 November 2015 at 7pm.
Quiz master Nick Carver and BBC presenter Charlie McArdle will once again be putting the teams through their paces in a series of interactive rounds featuring film clips and voice recognition as well as touch, taste, memory and speed challenges providing the business community with the opportunity to show-case their staff’s general knowledge skills.
Winners will receive the quiz trophy, currently held by last year’s winners from BNP Paribas Securities and a bottle of wine for each winning team member. The organisers are looking for teams of six although businesses are welcome to enter more than one team.
Chairman of Carey Olsen's charities committee, Susan Cooper, said: "Last year's event was fantastic, we had a huge turnout and there was a lot of friendly rivalry among local companies within the room.
“We're hoping to get more teams to enter this-year’s quiz and raise even more for our two chosen charities.”
Tickets are £150 per team of six which includes hot food. To register or to ask for further information, contact Sarah Le Scelleur on 01534 822437 or on: sarah.lescelleur@careyolsen.com .
