Carey Olsen is now the largest law firm across both Guernsey and Jersey according to The Lawyer magazine’s 2016 Offshore Survey with 63 and 93 qualified lawyers respectively.
In terms of overall standing, Carey Olsen is now the third largest offshore law firm following a 10% increase in the number of qualified lawyers over the past year, making a total complement of 188.
The Lawyer is the legal industry’s leading magazine and it features special reports and in-depth features on regional and overseas issues, practice area news and business analysis.
2015 was a significant year for Carey Olsen; it launched its BVI dispute resolution and litigation practice under the leadership of highly-regarded BVI practitioner Ben Mays, it opened its Singapore office led by top corporate and ex-Allen & Overy partner Linda Lee and greatly expanded its BVI and Cayman offices.
