Channel Islands' RBS branches remain under review amid mass branch closures and job cuts across the UK, a spokesperson has said.
Last week, the banking giant announced that it would be closing 162 branches across the UK.
792 jobs are also expected to be cut.
But it has now been confirmed that the Jersey and Guernsey branches - both under RBS International - will not be affected by this.
A spokesperson commented: “Royal Bank of Scotland, England & Wales/NatWest Scotland was due to launch as a separate bank but instead is now being reintegrated back into the core part of RBS. The branch closures relate to the branches in England and Wales that were to form part of this separate bank and many of these Royal Bank of Scotland branches are in close proximity to another branch. The bank has therefore taken the decision to close a number of branches in England and Wales where there is another branch within 2.5 miles.
"These closures do not affect the branches in the NatWest International network but we continue to review our branch network regularly and on a case-by-case basis, based on branch usage and the changing banking habits of our customers.”
