Weeks after a survey showed that more and more Islanders are going online to shop, one online furniture retailer says that Christmas sales showed another big rise.
Paul Clark, Managing Director of MyPad, says that the festive sales confirm an increasing trend of people buying online.
Mr Clark said that some of the sales were from people visiting MyPad's store, and then ordering online.
He said: “With all this in mind, it’s no surprise more people are shopping online this Christmas.
"Christmas is not typically the busiest time for furniture, however, more people have been buying items for the home this year as gifts. Many of these sales are through people liking things they see in the shop, then purchasing them online.”
