Citi Private Bank seeks to strengthen its team in Jersey with two senior hires.

Chris Stephens has joined as a Senior Private Banker and Rob Syvret as General Manager and Fiduciary Services Head of Jersey.

As Senior Private Banker, Chris Stephens joins Citi to focus on expanding its footprint in the Channel Islands.  

He brings 20 years’ experience of working in the offshore finance industry and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, having qualified as a Chartered Wealth Manager.

Rob Syvret is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries. In his new role at Citi, Mr Syvret will be heading Citi’s Trust Company in Jersey and he brings 26 years’ experience in the international finance industry to the role.

Citi Country Officer Anoop Ghai said: “The hiring of two senior and well respected financial professionals of Chris and Rob’s calibre reflects Citi’s commitment to the Channel Islands and our desire to expand further. We see them as strategically important in delivering our vision for growth and their combined experience of working with wealthy families and their advisors strengthens our ability to provide the highest level of service to our clients.”
