Collas Crill recruits regulatory consultant

Collas Crill has appointed a Senior Regulatory Consultant to help expand its compliance and regulatory services in Jersey.

Jackie McLaughlin joins the firm from BDO Advisory where she has worked as Senior Regulatory Consultant for a number of years, supporting clients ranging from smaller businesses to larger blue chip companies spanning deposit taking, trust and corporate, fund services, investment business and money service business.

She previously held the position of Group Chief Compliance Officer at Sanne and Hawksford, as well as senior governance risk and compliance role at Zedra. Ms McLaughlin was also a senior examiner at the JFSC, and has experience running major remediation projects.

“Jackie's appointment represents a significant step in the expansion of our risk and regulatory offering in Jersey and we are delighted to have her on board,” Senior Collas Crill Partner Nuno Santos-Costa said.

“Jackie's experience will allow us to offer compliance and regulatory consulting services in parallel to those we offer through Collas Crill Compliance in Guernsey as well as strengthen our regulatory investigations practice and our non-contentious regulatory practice.”
