Collas Crill shortlisted for two STEP Private Client Awards

Tuesday 30 June 2015

Collas Crill has been shortlisted in the Contentious Trusts and Estates Team of the Year and Legal Team of The Year (mid-size) categories in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner (STEP) Private Client Awards for 2015.

Now in their tenth year, the awards are widely considered to set the industry standard for excellence among private client lawyers, accountants and trust managers.

Collas Crill is the only offshore law firm to be shortlisted for the Legal Team of the Year (mid-size) award and is one of five shortlisted in the Contentious Trusts and Estates Team category, together with some of London's finest contentious trust practices. The awards received a total of more than 220 nominations this year and just 70 firms and individuals have been shortlisted.

Collas Crill's private client team spans both contentious and non-contentious matters and provides high-net-worth individuals, private banks and trust companies with specialist advice on a range of issues including wealth structuring, regulatory matters, real estate, private family funds and conflict resolution.

Collas Crill Group partner and head of fiduciary, Angela Calnan, said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the STEP Private Client Awards and to be recognised in two categories is welcome recognition of the growing reputation of our team. The recent addition of our Cayman office has allowed us to continue to expand our private client offering, which is a core strength of Collas Crill."

This year’s winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in London on 8 September.
