Competition watchdog consults on JT and Airtel merger application

You've got two weeks to have your say on the proposed merger of JT and Airtel.

The Channel Islands Competition and Regulatory Authorities (CICRA) has confirmed that it has registered the formal application from JT and Airtel seeking approval for the two companies to merge under the merger laws in Jersey and Guernsey.

CICRA chief executive, Michael Byrne, said: “CICRA can now start its assessment of this application which will be conducted in accordance with its standard merger assessment process.”
