Deloitte has appointed a Senior Manager to its tax team in Jersey.
Rupert Lee is joining the firm after spending two years working for a financial services merges and acquisitions tax practice in London.
He also has six years of prior experience working in Jersey, undertaking corporate tax compliance and advisory engagements for a variety of banking and trust company clients.
Mr Lee's recruitment follows the hiring of Harry Lawson as Senior Tax manager earlier in the year and three recent appointments to the Guernsey team.
Tax Manager Alison Hill and Assistant Manager Monique De Abreu have recently joined the firm, whilst Marielle Fritsch moved from Deloitte’s audit department into the tax team as a Manager.
Martin Rowley, Tax Partner in Jersey, commentedt: "Deloitte’s Channel Islands tax practice continues to grow in both size and strength, and the further recent additions to our teams in both Jersey and Guernsey reflect the increased demand for our services both locally and across multiple jurisdictions with which we work closely on a daily basis providing fully integrated tax services to Deloitte’s clients."
