Concentric has appointed an economist to the position of Non-Executive Director.

Peter Lucas, a Chartered Fellow and former local President of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, currently chairs the Jersey Landlords' Association.

In addition to his role with Concentric, he is the lead Investment Manager in a family office headquartered in St. Helier, as well as an Investment Strategist for Westminster Capital.

An economist by training, Mr Lucas has over 30 years’ experience of managing discretionary portfolios and funds.

“The sustainable investment movement is changing the shape of finance as we know it, and Concentric is a great example of a local business that is leading in this rapidly evolving area," he said.

"I look forward to helping them in achieving their worthwhile goals and objectives, whilst assisting them with their robust investment process.”

Gordon Bennie, Managing Director of Concentric Financial Services Limited, added: “I’m delighted to appoint Peter as our new NED.

"Peter has an excellent understanding and knowledge of investment markets and has long been renowned as a superb investment strategist. I look forward to the value he will bring to our business and our investment analysis processes.”
