A specialist in employment law will be joining Viberts as a Partner next month.

Called to the English Bar in 1996 and the Jersey Bar in 2008, Advocate Vicky Milner has been working in the area of employment law since 2001.

Her experience includes challenging the powers of the Jersey Employment and Discrimination Tribunal and testing the geographical scope of Jersey law in relation to offshore employment.

She also represented The Law Society of Jersey in a case raising discrimination and human rights issues in connection with admission to the Jersey Bar.

In her new role, Advocate Milner will provide advice on all areas of employment law.

“We are very excited to have someone of Vicky’s experience joining the Viberts employment team," Zoe Blomfield, Managing Partner at Viberts, said.

"Vicky’s appointment alongside existing Partner, Paul Wilson, not only enhances our employment offering but also cements our position as one of the strongest employment teams on the island.”

Advocate Milner added: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Viberts. As an independent full service Jersey law firm with broad expertise and a real commitment to client care, Viberts is a perfect complement to the services I offer.

”I look forward to continuing to support clients through the ever changing landscape of employment law in Jersey and to working alongside the wider Viberts team.”
