Trust and corporate services provider Equiom has announced the acquisition of EQUATION HK LIMITED.

Sheila Dean, Global CEO of Equiom Group commented: "I am very happy to welcome Laure, her team and their high quality portfolio to Equiom. Laure is a consummate professional who has built a client-focused business which fits perfectly with Equiom's core values. In addition to considerably expanding our client service team, Equation brings us an unrivalled market position in the French-speaking community in Hong Kong."

The entire Equation team will move into Equiom’s new offices in the China Evergrande Centre in September.

Laure Mathieu, Managing Director of Equation commented: "Equation has always sought to provide clients with a high-quality, all-encompassing combination of accounting, tax, payroll and corporate secretarial services. As our clients have grown in size and number, we have been looking at ways to maintain the best possible level of service. We concluded that joining a large international and well renowned business will allow us to maintain the high expectations of our clients. This move will enable our clients to access a significantly wider range of services together with international support, should they wish to enter or expand into new markets."

Established in 2010, Equation assists individuals and corporations to set up legal entities in Hong Kong and provides on-going administrative services to ensure compliance status.

Equiom Hong Kong was established in January 2015 following the acquisition of AFP Group and has since grown to over 50 staff. The business provides fiduciary, accounting, payroll, company secretarial and tax services to international companies and individuals as part of the international group which also has offices in Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Malta.
