Equiom strengthens client services team with new appointment

Friday 21 April 2017

Professional services provider Equiom has announced the appointment of Jo Gorrod as Client Services Director.

She will be joining the client services team in Jersey.

Commenting on her appointment, Ms Gorrod said: "I am pleased to be joining such a dynamic business as Equiom during this exciting period of growth. The trust industry in Jersey is continually evolving and the pace of change has increased over the past 5 years. The challenge for both individuals and businesses in a rapidly changing environment is not just to keep pace with the changes, but to prepare for the next 5 years. I look forward to working with Equiom’s experienced team of professionals."

Ms Gorrod has over 20 years’ experience in the trust industry in Jersey and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries (ICSA).

Having previously worked in a number of senior roles within well-known Jersey-based trust companies, her primary focus has been on managing structures for high net worth private families, including complex and contentious trusts.

At Equiom, she will be responsible for supporting the administration teams while providing guidance on technical issues and acting as the relationship lead for key clients.

Equiom Jersey Managing Director Nicola Gott added: "Jo’s appointment is a welcome addition to our solid team of client services professionals. Her experience and knowledge of the sector will support us in providing the best possible service to our clients while strengthening key relationships and fostering new ones. As Equiom continues to expand into new jurisdictions and service lines, we are fortunate to be able to tap into the expertise of professionals like Jo."
