Tuesday 23 February 2016

EY has appointed Elaine Connor as a senior manager in its Channel Islands tax team.

Ms Connor is a Chartered Tax Advisor with over 25 years’ tax compliance and advisory experience. Also STEP-qualified, she specialises in the UK taxation of offshore trust and company structures as well as the taxation of UK resident and non-UK domiciled individuals.

Splitting her time between Jersey and Guernsey, Ms Connor will take a key role in EY’s trust and private client team, managing UK tax compliance whilst also advising trust and corporate service providers in both islands as they navigate ever-changing regulation and UK tax legislation.

Wendy Martin, Tax Partner at EY in Jersey, said: “We are delighted to welcome Elaine to our Channel Islands team. She brings a significant level of international tax expertise and her knowledge of offshore structures and high net-worth individuals will be a real asset as we continue to grow our practice.”
