Hatstone Lawyers have announced four new appointments, which include a group partner and an associate in Jersey.
Mark Rawlins, specialised in investment funds and banking and finance, joins Hatstone as group partner while Marianne Hendry joins as associate and will be assisting the partners on a variety of transactions and providing general corporate and commercial advice.
Mr Rawlins has worked for a variety of clients including mega funds, start ups, holding companies, and business and family offices. Based in Hatstone's Jersey office, he will provide both Jersey and Cayman Islands advice for his clients, covering transactional matters, dispute resolution and regulatory advice. A frequent speaker, Mr Rawlins also contributes to articles for the business community.

Marianne Hendry is also joining the Jersey office. She is specialised in corporate and commercial, business law, mergers and acquisitions, investment funds and regulatory advice.
Marianne studied Scots Law at Glasgow University following which she spent four years working as an employment law paralegal, later going on to complete the LPC at the University of Law in Birmingham. She qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in March 2015 and started working in a specialist oil and gas team in Aberdeen. Previous to joining Hatstone, she was working in a generalist role in Edinburgh assisting on corporate M&A transactions, funding rounds and advising on a range of commercial contracts.

Giselle Ocampo and Chrisma Genis have also been recently appointed to the Panama and South African office, respectively. Ms Ocampo has been named Deputy Head of Corporate Services and specialises in the incorporation of companies and foundations with experience of Panama, BVI, Seychelles, Singapore, New Zealand and the UK. Ms Genis joins as an associate and practises in general corporate and commercial law.
