Apex welcomes new NED

The former CEO of Jersey Finance will be joining the board of Apex Jersey as Non-Executive Director, subject to regulatory approval.

The firm hopes that Geoff Cook's 12 years' experience representing and promoting Jersey as an international finance centre will prove beneficial as it aims to evolve its profile in the Channel Islands and executes its growth strategy.

Mr Cook said he was "delighted" about his appointment.

"This financial services firm has continually improved and evolved its service suite to cover three key pillars: fund solutions, financial solutions and corporate solutions. I enjoy working with companies that challenge market convention and that play such an important role in the functioning of financial markets. I am thrilled to be joining the Board.”

Norma O’Sullivan, Managing Director of Apex Jersey, added: “Geoff has accumulated a wealth of experience over his career that will enhance our relationships with intermediaries and help us better serve clients. His expertise will provide us with further market insights across Private Clients, Family Office, Funds, and Corporate Services and Employer and Executive Services.

"Geoff has a deep understanding of the markets in which we operate and is perfectly positioned to help us raise local brand awareness. We are delighted to welcome Geoff onto the Apex Jersey board.”
