Two lawyers have become Partners at Hatstone.
Advocate Stephen Wauchope and Alvaro Almengor have been promoted, brining the total number of partners in the Group to six.
Alvaro Almengor is a well-regarded Panamanian lawyer specialising in civil, commercial, employment and administrative law and Panamanian tax.
Advocate Stephen Wauchope is a practical, resolution-focused litigator who specialises in trust disputes, employment law, regulatory advice, general commercial litigation and insurance risks.
Group Partner Carl O’Shea said: “Our new partners have earned their place through their dedication to client service excellence and technical skill. Hatstone is a boutique law firm providing services from its four offices in Jersey, London, Panama and South Africa and was named a Top 15 Offshore Law Firm in a survey published by The Lawyer in February this year.
The company was set up in December 2011 and has since won 'Boutique Law Firm of the Year' at the City Wealth IFC Awards 2016 and was runner up at the City Wealth Magic Circle Awards 2016 in the 'Technology Innovation of the Year' category.
