Hawksford says it is the first company in Jersey to be accredited by STEP, The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) and now The Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
Hawksford has recently received the CMI accreditation and approval, enabling in-house delivery of CMI qualifications as part of its management development programme.
Marisa Ballantyne (pictured), Hawksford’s Head of Learning and Development, said: "Being able to offer CMI qualifications as well as our STEP Platinum Employer Partner status and LPI accreditation is further validation of Hawksford’s continuous investment in our people. Working with the CMI will allow Hawksford to deliver a high standard of professional qualifications and to develop the next generation of managers within the business, which has real benefits for the individuals and the organisation.
"Hawksford's holistic and systematic approach to learning and development means that we provide a variety of work and non-work related activities to support career progression across the entire organisation. Through continued learning and development, our highly qualified workforce is able to offer creative and pragmatic solutions for the long term benefit of our clients."
Steve Heappey, Director of Employer and Provider Partnerships at CMI said: "In a tough economic climate, there is no doubt that developing world-class management and leadership is essential to a company's growth, and I urge employers to make sure that they support their managers to become Chartered. We're delighted to be working with Hawksford to give its managers the opportunity to gain the professional skills that will benefit the company, as well as their own career development."
