Hawksford welcomes record number to specialist trainee scheme

Hawksford has welcomed eight school leavers and graduates on to its training programme, the largest ever intake of trainees for the business.

The scheme will see the trainees receive a two year intensive training programme comprising of placements across Hawksford’s core service areas, whilst working towards recognised professional qualifications.

Sam Burnham, Daisy Daly, Sophie Guillaume, Edward Kane, Malachi Mitchell, Khaya Pybus, Francisca Rubio and Aigars Skrivelis have started their training in various teams, including corporate, private client, client accounting and wills and probate.

Marisa Ballantyne, Head of Learning and Development at Hawksford, said: "Hawksford’s training programme supports the professional growth of our new recruits by offering a tailored approach to career development. We offer a number of placements and rotations across different service areas and departments, giving trainees exposure to a wide range of business areas. Thirty-two candidates were interviewed for the scheme and the eight successful trainees are an impressive mixture of ambition, drive and energy. We are really looking forward to helping them carve out their careers."

Malachi Mitchell, who joined the scheme in September, said: "I have been really impressed by the amount of time dedicated to specialist training, which has been incredibly helpful in allowing me to adapt and adjust to the working environment. It was clear from the start that Hawksford is committed to investing in my professional development and doing everything they can to assist me on my career journey."

Francisca Rubio, said: "The trainee scheme differentiated itself because of its content, structure and the detailed career journey that the team help you navigate. At Hawksford, they strive to bring out the best in every individual and want every person to achieve to the best of their ability."
