HR Now has appointed two experienced senior consultants to its team of HR professionals based in Jersey.

Rachel Lucas and Karen Lysiak have taken up their new roles, advising a broad range of clients across industry sectors on HR and employment law related matters.

HR Now Managing Director Becky Hill says: "The face of human resources is constantly changing and employment law is becoming increasingly complex. We have a very skilled team and the addition of Karen and Rachel gives us even more depth and knowledge."

Mrs Lucas began her career in human resources at the Royal National Theatre and the commercial arm of BBC magazines and has since worked in the travel, retail and marketing sectors at HR Director level. She has experience of business integration projects, mergers and acquisitions as well as new HR software roll outs and outsourcing for payroll and benefits.

In addition to graduate schemes, reward and recognition systems and resource planning, she has developed specialist skills in managing change and organisation structures and is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Ms Lysiak has over 17 years’ experience, including providing specialist information and guidance on HR policy and practice and employment law.

Having been a member of senior management teams in the finance and charitable sectors, she has introduced change programmes that have resulted in significant organisational benefits whilst, at the same time, successfully managing the impact on the people involved.

Most recently Ms Lysiak worked with Jersey Hospice Care to help transform the organisation from being a small charity to the leading supplier of specialist palliative care in Jersey.

She is a member of CIPD and holds an MBA in Managing Human Resources, Strategic Development, Creativity, Innovation and Change, International Enterprise – Managing across borders.
