‘Influential’ chef takes over at Ocean

Wednesday 25 October 2017

An executive chef who was awarded a Michelin Star before his 30th birthday and whom The Food Guide has predicted will be one of the ten most influential chefs of the next decade has taken over Ocean at the Atlantic Hotel.

Executive Chef Will Holland, who has worked in some of the finest establishments across the UK, including La Bécasse Restaurant, L'Ortolan Restaurant, Gravetye Manor Hotel and Homewood Park Hotel and recently Coast Restaurant in Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, describes his style as “relaxed and informal, with the focus on fantastic ingredients” which together with “excellent technique produces mouth-watering food”.

Patrick Burke, Managing Director and Owner of The Atlantic Hotel, said: “The Atlantic has long been synonymous with fine food and wine. Over the years we have helped to grow the profile of Jersey as a gourmet destination. We are delighted to welcome Will Holland as our Executive Chef this month. Will brings with him a tremendous passion and energy which will mark the beginning of a new chapter for the hotel. His love of local produce aligns perfectly with our long-standing commitment to island producers and we look forward to further developing our culinary offering with him. Exciting plans lie ahead for 2018 and beyond.”
