iQ opens new flagship store in Liberty Wharf

Tuesday 30 July 2019

iQ, the only Apple Authorised Premium Reseller (APR) and official Apple Service Provider (ASP) in the Channel Islands, has moved from its Beresford Street site to a 5000 sq ft flagship store inside Liberty Wharf.

The move into the premises formerly occupied by Marks and Spencer has helped iQ create three new job roles.

The store will continue to offer the complete Apple range as well as a much wider range of third party products; including gadgets and accessories for both personal and business use.

In addition to the overall extended product range, the new store will incorporate larger training facilities and additional resources for support, repair, business and education services.

Tony O’Neill, CEO of Sandpiper who own iQ, commented: “We are delighted to finally open our iQ Apple Authorised Premium Reseller store in Liberty Wharf today (29  July). Much time and effort and a significant six figure sum has been invested in this flagship store and Apple’s decision to endorse this new improved location demonstrates a massive vote of confidence in the Liberty Wharf retail complex.

“Sandpiper bought Liberty Wharf last year and since then we have upgraded the entire complex by attracting new tenants, creating an enhanced retail mix of quality stores and improving the appeal to attract islanders and visitors to the stores. The unique Victorian site is perfectly located between St Helier’s harbour and town and also adjacent to the island’s central business district and International Finance Centre.”

The store will be open seven days a week, Monday to Saturday 09:00 until 5:30 and 10:00 until 16:00 on Sundays.
