Jersey business expands into Mauritius

Friday 13 September 2019

Corporate services provider ICECAP has opened a new office in Mauritius following the granting of a license by the local regulatory authority.

The new office will build on the capability of the firm's Jersey business and provide corporate, fund and private client services.

Charles Le Cornu, Co-Founder and Director, said: “ICECAP is an entrepreneurial business with an Africa focus. Mauritius continues to be one of the leading international finance centres for foreign investment into Africa so is a natural fit for us and a key part of our growth strategy.

"Having established businesses in both Jersey and Mauritius gives us the platform to provide the highest levels of client service to new and existing clients in the region.”

Neil Hagelthorn, Managing Director, added: “I am absolutely delighted to lead ICECAP’s Mauritian business and look forward to building a strong local presence. Mauritius is an important jurisdiction for many of our clients and we look forward to providing them with a first-class service."
